COMPETITION

The conceptual focus of our proposal for this movie theater and gallery curated a form that gained its influence from local geographies and materials. The goal is to have a minimal visual impact at the scale of the horizon, but capture the beauty and scale of the surrounding environmental features.

The space houses a viewing room, a small art and film gallery, and an open seating area used for local performances and presentations.

As nature uses harsh elements and materials to divide space, this building is structurally supported and conceptually divided by a massive stone wall.
